It was a fiery competition at the 2020 Texas ProStart Invitational Competition over the weekend at Collin College - Preston Ridge Campus
in Frisco, Texas. The first of the two regional Texas ProStart competitions, twelve teams came out on top and will advance to the state finals, to be held at St. Phillip’s College in San Antonio, Saturday March 28, for the chance to represent the Lone Star State at the National ProStart Invitational.

Produced by the Texas Restaurant Association Education Foundation (TRAEF), the Texas ProStart competitions are the largest in the country, with more than 320 students competing in either culinary or restaurant management. In Frisco, 18 high schools sent a total of 26 teams, (18 culinary and eight restaurant management).
